Hakes Bolster Squad with Signing of Talented Trio

StartFragment

Moving in to the business end of the season the Hakes will be delighted to have captured the signing of 3 new players to help bolster their already talented squad.

The first is exciting young half back Dan Rutter who comes to us from Redruth, where he has gained good national league experience. He has represented Cornwall at youth level and up to Cornwall 20s. Dan is a versatile back who is equally comfortable at 9 or 10 and ...can also play 12 or 15.

Joe Parma who previously had a short stint with the Hakes returns to the fold after a number of successful seasons with Camborne. Joe who is known for his strong counter attacking from full back, will bring a wealth of experience to a backline with a good blend of youth and experience.

Joe Burton a prop who applies his trade in the Navy has certainly made an impact in the success of the U23's Inter Services Cup, whilst also being a dominant figure for Culdrose in their defence of their cup competition this season. He will add good size and strength to the Hakes pack.

All three will be looking forward to making an impact on this already strong squad of players who are showing their intentions to finish the campaign strongly. We welcome them all to the club and look forward to seeing them all wearing the 'Hakes' shirt in the near future.

This with the addition of Greg Loydall, James Bishop and Grant Thirlby returning to the squad until the end of the season and the announcement of 1 or 2 more signings imminent, puts the Hakes in a much stronger position for the final run in, where they will be looking to push hard to finish in a strong position moving in to next season.
