Temporary Holiday Site July 14th to August 11th 2017

Cornwall District Association of The Camping & Caravanning Club

Our St Ives THS is held in the grounds of St Ives Rugby Club with far reaching views across St Ives Bay.  The town centre and beaches are within easy reach on foot or by the regular bus service from the Rugby Club car park.   There is a well stocked shop about 300 yards from the site entrance, open ‘8 till late’ and also a small supermarket nearby.  There are no electric hook ups on site and own sanitation is essential.

St Ives Bay, on the Atlantic coast, is one of Cornwall’s premier holiday areas.

St Ives itself offers something for everyone, with safe sandy beaches, the harbour with its fishing boats, the narrow cobbled streets of the old town and, reflecting the town’s artistic heritage, the Tate gallery, Leach Pottery and Barbara Hepworth museum. Walk the Coastal Footpath for breathtaking views or climb Trencrom Hill, just inland from St Ives for a seagull’s eye view of West Cornwall.

There are a host of interesting places to visit in West Cornwall.  Lands End, St Michael’s Mount and the Minack Theatre to name but a few, or why not go a little further afield and  spend a  day at the Eden Project near St Austell, or the Maritime Museum at Falmouth.

With its cliff walks, windsurfing, fishing and sailing, together with a wealth of varying attractions for the holidaymaker within reach, St Ives makes an ideal centre for exploring the west of Cornwall.
