George Sanders and Luke Alatt, who play for the Colts, have been selected for the Truro College Rugby team to attend the Sanix World Championships which are being held in Japan. They are playing other colleges from around the world such as New Zealand, Australia, South Africa, Japan Russia and Fiji.

Last Saturday a very successful and well supported raffle and auction took place at the club. Both players and parents extend a big vote of thanks to the club for allowing fund raising to take place on the day of such an important fixture. George and Luke will be in Japan by now, with the colleges' first match tomorrow, against Saga Technical High School, a city of over 200,000 population in the extreme south west of Japan.

Truro College Rugby Academy Squad

The Truro College Rugby Academy first travelled to this prestigious tournament in 2010. Due to their success they have been invited back. This year will be their fourth trip.

Sanix is a huge company that, as the name suggests, specialises in sanitation solutions. The rugby tournament started at the beginning of the millenium.

The tournament begins for Truro College tomorrow, Thursday 28th April. A full schedule can be found here:
