Appointment Announcement

St Ives Rugby club are delighted to announce Jimmy Stevens as our new Director of Rugby.

Jimmy, a St Ives man, whose family links with the Hakes are synonymous with committed, no nonsense rugby.

Jimmys father Louis and brothers Tony and Louis have amassed over 1000 first team caps for St. Ives between them.

Jimmy’s playing credentials are superb. Having played for England at age group levels he continued as a professional premiership rugby player for a number of years, representing Leicester Tigers, London Irish and Nottingham.

Jimmy has a clear plan to develop rugby throughout the club and has the full support of the players and the rugby committee. His involvement over the past couple of seasons ensures continuity and an understanding of the good work that has gone before.

We look forward to Season 2024/25 and beyond.
