Weather Plays Havoc With League Games

Few matches played this weekend

The relentless rain has once again played havoc with the Tribute Cornwall & Devon rugby fixture list. Only three games survived the weather. The cancellations included St Ives’ trip to Tavistock. This now means that they have two of their longest journeys away from home still to make, Paignton being the other one.

These are the games that were able to be played.

The key factor for St Ives amongst these results is the favour local rivals, Hayle, have done us. Withycombe failed to pick up a bonus point which nullifies the lack of one for St Ives against Falmouth last week. St Ives, therefore, remains second in the league. Withycombe do have a game in hand, but they must travel to Alexandra Road, which will be a crucial game.

The full table can be mulled over on the ‘league table page’, or, if you are using a mobile device there is a link to the table.
