Big Day, But Help is Needed!

Serve Your Club This Saturday

St Ives will be playing their last home fixture in their best season for some years this Saturday. We welcome Crediton and will be laying on a reception for their committee. This is just one of three receptions planned for the afternoon.

There is to be a reception buffet before the match in memory of the late Lesley Stevens, former player, who recently passed away. His family are marking this sad loss with a get together at the club.

Finally, the players and their support teams will require a meal after the match. Following this there will be a presentation of club awards. (Anyone who has a cup, shield or trophy please return them).

The club needs you!

The club is without the services of our usual kitchen and bar staff for this important day. It needs all and any help from members and supporters. Are you available to plate up or serve food, collect plates and tidy tables, or collect glasses and bottles during the day and evening? Would you be willing to do so? If you can, don’t just turn up on the day. The club needs to know who and how many helpers. The committee is doing a great job, but they are few in number. They cannot be expected to do it all. Please contact Joff Rowe (07837992663) and confirm that you will help and how. You don’t specialist skills, just a desire to help out.

Easter weekend match

Annual visitors Imperial Medics will be touring again this year. There have a fixture against a St Ives XV on Good Friday afternoon, kick off at 2:30pm.
