Hayle Cup 1/4 Final Cancelled

The ¼ final of the Tribute Cornwall Cup match St Ives against Hayle way at Hayle RFC has been handed to the Hakes, as a walk over.

This cup match was due to be played at Hayle next Saturday 17th October 2015.

The coaches and players are obviously disappointed but also understand the position that Hayle find themselves.

It was not too long ago that the reverse happened and the Hakes were providing a free passage way to the next round for the Hayle squad.

The coaching staff appreciates the early heads up but have decided they will not be filling the fixture for the sake of another game.

The second team will play midweek and perhaps the following week and then the Hakes take on a strong Tavistock squad at Alexander Road in the next stage of the league campaign on Saturday 24th October 2015 KO 15:00hrs.

Don’t forget that the next senior rugby for the club is an away fixture for the reserves at Hayle on Wednesday 14th October at 19:00hrs KO.
