Reserve have another fixture

St Ives RFC has arranged another fixture for the reserves. This time the opposition is RNAS Culdrose. The date is Wednesday 28th October, Kick Off 7:00p.m.

Liam is very committed to having a reserve team at the club:

"The club is very keen to arrange regular fixtures for the reserve team. This is essential if the club is to develop and maintain growth. But it is also essential that players attend training each week. The quality of the training under Paul Thirlby [Head Coach] is excellent. With the amount of injuries we get, it is vital that positions are ready to be filled. The reserves also has a bit of a social element to it too. But on the field we want to take it seriously."

The first game against Hayle last week proved a great success. There is quite a buzz amongst those who participated. By all accounts there was good support for the travelling 2nd team. Mark this date and time in your diary and make every effort to come along and watch them.
