Todd Prisk Returns to the Hakes

St Ives RFC welcome home England counties U20s forward Todd Prisk who has signed for the Hakes on his return from national league outfit Fylde.

Todd has trained with the first team squad in recent weeks and on Sunday evening agreed to sign for the club.

Obviously Todd has a big family influence within the club where parents Nicola and Paul are club secretary and interim first team manager respectively. Brothers Jamie and Niall also represent the club, with older brother, Jamie, performing well in this league campaign in the senior squad.

The club are excited that Todd will not only play, but he has agreed to take a significant role in the start of a new coaching structure within the junior section of the club.

Director of Rugby - Joff Rowe said,

“This is a great opportunity for Todd to settle back in Cornwall from his recent venture in Lancashire. Todd will add value to the senior squad; he is a great line out forward and will benefit the league campaign during these next few months. He can offer the club a real opportunity to develop the coaching in the junior section and it is my intention to try and use him with others in our community to attempt to encourage rugby at all ages.

Todd has proven that with a little support you can achieve great things. In Todd’s case it is to play and captain Cornwall U20’s and go on to represent his country within the England counties set up.”

Todd will get straight down to business this week end when he will partner his brother Jamie in the second row on the most significant league trip so far in this campaign, away to league leaders, Withycombe.
