Solid Looking Squad to Face Truro

St Ives face their toughest test yet when they entertain league leaders Truro. However, since the away side are yet to play either Exeter University, Cullompton or Devon Services, this could also be their most difficult fixture of the season. Poor game management and on field decision making by the home side helped Truro to a one point away victory over Wadebridge recently. St Ives will need to be at their best in order to gain their first league win over Truro for ten seasons.

The front row is unchanged, James Bishop and Ben Jenkins keeping a 100% appearance record. The second row sees Jake Clemson making his first appearance since the start of the season when he performed well against Cullumpton. His partner is the experienced Jamie Hoskin.

Sean Stevens retains his place after travelling to Burnham last week. Martyn Lawrance is back as flanker, while the impressive Mackay stays at No.8

Sam Carter is back from a tour of duty to fill the scrum half berth. Alongside him is Paul Thirlby, a partnership that worked well last year, with eight wins from nine occasions. The back five make a strong combinaton, such that Jordan Gott is at full back. Steve Kenward returns to centre with the consistent Tom Nicholas.

Remember the kick off for the rest of the winter is 2:30pm. Your support is welcomed.
