Chris gives his take on the opening match against Cullompton.

"I felt like we controlled our own set piece really well and dominated our opposition.

"We had a very mature performance from our front five which was complimented by a very energetic performance from the back row.

"I thought our half backs directed play very well especially in the first half.

"Our back line looked extremely dangerous at times. It was by no means a walk over.

"Cullumpton were travelling a few light of their full strength side and they were good value for their two tries.

"I felt like we relaxed a bit in the second half after our early score, and maybe took the opposition a little lightly. We made a few poor choices with our exit game and maybe forced it a bit. We as coaches do encourage the guys to have a crack if they think it's on, so we won't be too hard on them.

"All in all it was a very satisfying victory and all 18 players on the day made a massive contribution to an excellent performance. We will keep our feet on the ground, because the games come thick and fast and we have a very tough fixture ahead of us this week."
