MAJOR SPONSOR CONFIRMS LONG-TERM COMMITMENT TO SUPPORTING YOUTH

A local sporting club is delighted to announce a major sponsor for its youngest players.

St Ives Rugby Football Club is delighted Polmanter Touring Park has extended its sponsorship to continue supporting its youth section again this season, seeing teams ranging from under 7s to under 18s.

With the partnership trialling in 2024, Polmanter Touring Park is now pleased to confirm its support of the younger members of the club until July 2028, with the business’s branding carried across 250 playing shirts.

The “Hakes” boast a long and proud history at Alexandra Road with the youth section trebling in membership over recent years and now entering its 50^th Year.

The younger sections are reaching unprecedented participation levels, with the fantastic introduction of girls’ rugby to the youth section, as the need for local support continues to grow.

The young ‘Hakes’ all performed magnificently throughout last season and excelled in their end of season Cornwall County tournaments and festivals.

Chairman of the Youth Section, Tony Stevens said:

“We are extremely grateful to Polmanter Touring Park for supporting us last year and now committing to a further 3 years, meaning a total 4-year sponsorship deal. We want to invest time and resources into our young players so they enjoy playing and to become the best that they can possibly be. With Polmanter’s support, we are excited about the coming season and have high hopes for what our youth section can achieve. For anyone interested, training takes place on Friday evenings, starting at 5 ‘o’ clock – no need to ask first, just show up.”
