Falmouth v St Ives Saturday 4th November 2023

St Ives travel to Falmouth today to face a team next to bottom of the league. This could be a confidence boost and a welcome return to league rugby after the heavy defeat at home to Truro in the cup last weekend. The Hakes should be keen to follow up their one away victory at Bideford on 14th October. Falmouth are a much stronger opposition at home, with wins against Tavistock and Bideford, with narrow defeats at the hands of Bude and Kingsbridge.

St Ives, as so often is the case in rugby generally and at this level particularly, have several changes to last week's squad. Todd Prisk is out and is replaced by Ben Jenkins. Front row cover comes again in the form of Levi Webster. Nick Prout moves to fly half, with Grant Thirlby injured. Chris Pattison returns to the centre alongside Matt Burrell who is showing considerable versatility.

Kingsbridge, Plymough Albion Oakes and Tavistock all have fixtures that they would hope to win. St Ives must do well to stay in the upper echelon of their league. Kick Off at Falmouth is at 2:30p.m.
